Ford here, preferably an older F-150 Lightning though. General Motors can kiss my ass. I sold cars and trucks for them for a while and I saw alot of issues coming back through the dealership, mainly electrical. Bad scene dude. I know 2 I sold alone was lemon'ed out in the end. That was over a 7 month time period back in 2001.

I think it's kind of weird how some people have nothing but trouble with certain makes, and no trouble with others. I for example will never buy a ford again, the past 3 that have been in my life were nothing but trouble, and honestly dangerous to the driver and passenger at times, and others I know with fords have huge issues. GM's have been great to me, I am a GM guy (or should I say OMC...Obama Motor Corp) But I don't like their trucks. Ram's kick butt! I like dodge cars/suv's as well, but not any more than GM. I also like some models by kia, hyundai, etc. Also have see nothing but trouble from toyota, "the best cars in the world", yeah right.

Funny though, the next post will be some guy who has had terrible luck with GM, and great luck with Ford and Toyota lol! It's just kind of ironic to me...

I have owned a couple dozen Fords(1 at present), a half dozen Dodges (2 at present) and about 4 or 5 Gm products.
I have only really had 2 hugely disappointing vehicles and unfortunately they have both been from Dodge (95 Ram 3/4 ton diesel, 2012 Ram1500)
I voted Ford, cuz I have had great experiences with all of them and would love another super duty

I got nothing for Toyota. I see how they have jacked my dad around on his Tacoma (The Toyota Flagship truck) for the last 4-5 years on any warranty work. He bought this ultimate forever warranty that came with 1 year of free oil changes, free rentals wif it was in for more than X amount of hours and all that jazz that they were selling on their 2007-2008 model years when you sat down with the finance officer. He took it in for the transfer case acting a bitch and they told him a three dealerships that there was a problem and "WHEN" it broke they would fix it. It would make popping and grinding noises, sometimes just bind up and lock kind like a U-joint went out and so on when engaged, especially in 4L. Well I took it out one afternoon and I finished it off for him so they would fix it and all it took was a good yank on a tree with the winch in reverse. Then they tried to get out of fixing it then and I thought I was buying my dad a new transfer case there for a few days. He called Toyota Corporate and after arguing with them for days over it they finally fixed it. Then his Torque converter went out and they tried to say the same shit and so on. My dad being retired and this truck almost paid for is the ONLY thing keeping him from buying a Ford or Dodge right now and the only reason he got this truck was because the 2007-2008 Dakotas at that time were some of the UGLIEST trucks on the road and he wanted a smaller but peppy 4WD quad cab truck. My dad is one of those who will drive a vehicle until the wheels fall off twice and then he will put them back on, have it towed to the lot and trade it in. No Toyotas in my future based on that.

Default "07" Avalanche

So done with GM! Had an "07" Chevy Avalanche with the 5.3 Flex Fuel and I was one of the fortunate ones to have the oil consumption issue. GM won't stand behind their poorly designed engine so I dumped her about 3 weeks ago for my first Dodge product.

I'm Chevy all the way! Bought my Dodge new in 96, my first new truck. Paid 21k for it, took it back within a week. I asked the dealership if Dodge stood for DOG. They upgraded my computer. I later added a JET chip, K&N Filter charger. No Performance, just reliability. I have drove the new Chevy w/ the 327, WOW!
