I pick Chevy over Ford because they're easier to work on, and the Aftermarket has lots available for Silverado's.

I voted Chavy cause I'd have to go with a GMC Sierra. It's a close brother to the Chevy. I will never buy a Ford on my own decision. I would have to be forced.

I came from a Ford Ranger that was reliable as hell, but that's because they had perfected the Ranger design years ago and didnt change it. The f150 has yearly changes and that scares me, was the truck that bad to begin with that they have to change it all the time?

I'm not a fan of the Eco-boost and the 5L and 3.7L don't have enough miles on them to prove long term reliability.

The 5.3L although recently update with Cylinder deactivation and 6 spd automatic is still more proven then Ford's powertrain.

Don't get me wrong I prefer the Looks and interiors of the 2009+ F150 over the 07+ Silverado/Sierra, but reliability is more important...

So i'd take an extended cab 5.3L Sierra in the Nevada edition.

I've owned Dodge, Ford, and Chevy trucks. If I had to choose between Ford and Chevy, I'd probably go Chevy. I've had a RCSB 2WD 5.3 truck with longtubes, tune, gears, and intake. That thing would HAUL for the mods it had and got pretty good gas mileage.

My wife and I were originally going to wait until the new 2014 Silverado's were released, before we decided to pull the trigger on a 2013 Ram. The new styling of the Chevy, both inside and out, looks miles better than before. But, it still pales in comparison to what Ram has done for 2013. Our local Chevy dealer has been great to work with (wife's 2010 Chevy Equinox), so hopefully the Ram dealership can be held in the same regard, with the new truck.

Ford. Gm is garbage. My last 2 experiences with new gms resulted in a stab wound and cut on my hand due to chrome flaking off door handle in brand new 09 gfx, bashing my knee on the pathetically small cabs, (same day) and on a week old Denali last summer rolled a 250lb spool of aluminum cable off the truck and it creased the tailgate enough to pop the paint on the other side. Sad, so sad.

I would say Ford for sure! Probably because I have owned an F-150 and F-250. I give Ford respect for making their Super Duty line look different than their half ton and pick up trucks. I also love the room of a Super Cab and the interior styling is always geared towards the driver. Now if Dodge just would make interior comforts like a Ford with the power of a Hemi
