Well if I absolutely had to buy either a Chevy or a Ford brand new I would buy a F250 with a V-10 in it. I used to buy nothing but Chevies a long time ago. but Chevy went to crap. nothing but troubles with them. But I drove a F-250 with the V-10 in it. this wasn't just any old truck but one that was bought brand new by a repo company. hard useage and lots of differant drivers over the years. Yet it pulled like a champ. And was a very trouble free truck.

We were going to buy a Raptor before I decided to get the RAM.

Dad sold the carcass to our trash man and he fixed it up! It had over 200k on it before the wreck and when he brought it back to show my dad it had already been to central Mexico twice! Dad said he knew the exhaust note when it rounded the end of the street nearly 1/2 a mile away!
Another one who knows what a truck is.

In case you haven't figured it out, we are Ford truck people. We traded our 2004 F150 in on the RAM. It was going to be a Raptor, but the cost and me wanting a Dodge to go with the Challenger swayed me this time. We also have 2 1967 Ford crewcabs and 3 other bumpside parts trucks at the house. So if not a RAM, it would be a Ford. Other than a 1986 Mazda and a 2005 Colorado and now the RAM, it has always been a Ford. I didn't think I would get in a Ford vs. the other one debate on a Dodge forum. Ford, Ford, Ford.

Fords are pigs on fuel but my 08 GMC Sierra 5.3 shuts down 4 cyl on the highway at cruise and gets great mileage. How about the RAM HEMI ?

I voted Chevy. I loved all 3 of my Chevys and made the Ford mistake once. The F-150 sucked and was junk.
