Good thought about getting the re-flash done at dodge then.

$550.00 shipped, $65.00 for 3 quarts of Royal Purple 75W140 gear oil (already has limited slip additive), $105.00 to have Dodge re-flash PCM to correct the pinion factor, and $250.00 to a mechanic/friend. Probably would have been $450.00 for labor if I took it to the local gear shop.... So a total of $970.00....

If Dodge were to have done it, it would have been $2800.00 to $3200.00!!
I lost the warranty on my rear diff, but with the money I saved by not having Dodge do it, if it screws up I can do it again 2 more times and still not spend the same as it would have costed to let Dodge do it once!!
Thanks for the info. I am wanting to do this also. How sure are you that it will only effect your rear diff warranty? I was told if you changed anything mechanical in your drivetrain, it would void all of it. I know this can differ from one dealers opinion to the next, but I would like to know for sure. I have heard the aurgument that if it is not directly related to the part that failed then your good. I would still like to be 100% sure.

Legislation for voiding warranty is the part has to cause the failure, not just be present.

I modified the T-case on my jeep to be twin stick.. shift front and rear independently. I can run 4HI, 4LOW, Front High, Front Low, Rear High, Rear Low.
But since I flipped it upside down as well, I wasn't able to interlock it. One time when going from 4HI to 2WD, I push the front leave a little to much. Front Low, Rear High and the jeep would not move at all and I could not shift either to neutral. Had to use a lifeline and call a friend to bring a jack.

LOL

Unfortunately, since the install, everytime I was going to the track it got rained out and now its closed. I think it will be open again for Test-n-Tune on Sundays during January starting on Jan 10. Then, starting in Feb, they'll begin opening on Friday nights also for bracket racing. I'm not sure when I'll be able to make it there, but I'll post some times when I do.
