Angry Headache never ends.

After my oil gasket issues I have been trying to get the hood mat and belt changed on my Ram.

Midas told me they would pay for that too, so I went ahead and told my dealership to order the hood mat. It came in yesterday. The dealership never told me, but I called in today to check up on it and found out. So I asked for my service manager from last time so I wouldn't have to deal with explaining the whole situation to someone new. When I speak to her she tells me that Midas still hasen't paid for the last visit but she didn't want to bother me with that.

So I call up Midas. The manager there seems suprised and tell me that he did sent payment. He says that first, he never got the fax from dodge with the bill and had to ask several times for it to be resent. Then he faxed by a payment authorization but got a call from the service manager stateing she never received it. He then refaxed and the form and never heard back and assumed that all was taken care of.

The manager at Midas volunteered to follow up and call me back. I want to get my next visit scheduled so I can have the parts replaced as soon as possible. Plus I'm moving soon and don't want to have to go through all this again with another dealership.

I'm ready to pull my hair out.

I agree. Someone, if not both are lieying and or slacking, and obviously have no interest in making sure you are being taken care of. This is horsesh*t, why cant people do what they say they are going to do? If your going to drag your feet then dont make empty promises to the people that are keeping you employed and in business in the first place.
When in doubt take a chainsaw to their face!!

Unfortunatly I think it's the dealership, rather than Midas, that can't get their shit together. It's like pulling teeth to get a hold of the service manager in charge of my case. Every time I call midas they put a manager right on the phone, and they call me back too.

It's irrelavant really. The two of them need to work it out so I don't have to be stuck in the middle.

Your probably right, but nothing gets the point accross quite like a chainsaw to the face!!

So as long as you get your hood mat and they arent trying to hold it or anything shady like that.
