My list is short, actually. I buy it and keep it, then keep it for a few years more, sometimes beyond the point of actual usefulness or future project tinkering....

1. 1983 Subaru stationwagon - loved that car, even with the spare tire under the hood, lol, and the water pump being a royal pain to change, but had the backseat for the kids and the 4x4 for me, lol. Bought it for $1000 and sold it for $600, so not bad.
2. 1981 Dodge Ram D150 Custom - my absolute favorite oldie but goodie, had quite a few mods on that one, so much fun to drive, used and abused that truck, raced it and it never let me down, sold it last summer at the behest of my dad...
3. 1991 XJ Jeep Cherokee Sport - My baby, still have that one!
4. 2007 Jeep Compass - Don't rightly know what I was thinking when I picked that one out, lol, but all in all, great car, very versatile and fun to drive, actually miss it, but the ex had to get that one back....
5. 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 - What can I say, love my truck!!!

Now if this list were to include the vehicles that, at one point or another, were in the driveway and part of the family, well that would be too many to mention, lol!

85 Dodge Omni (the Silver Bullet) 55mph downhill with the wind
92 Dodge Dynasty, first car I fixed myseld, was wrecked
91 Dodge Daytona, loved it but the engine was getting ready to go,also was a wrecked one
93 Chrysler Concorde, was wrecked and fixed
96 Dodge Avenger, wish I still had it, was wrecked too (notice a pattern)

Then I didn't drive for almost 2 years
When I got my work permit I got a
2000 Dodge Dakota V6 was wrecked also

Then since I bought a camper I need a bigger truck to pull it and had 3 kid on the way I got my Ram Yes I bought the camper first so I could get the bigger truck, oh yeah it was wrecked too

Then me and the wife have an 02 Caravan, the only car I have ever bought from a dealer, and it was not wrecked either. I am looking for a 2nd gen Durango though that is.

My fave, though, was my 1995 Chevrolet ImpalaSS. Not as powerful as my 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8 (260 HP vs. 425 HP) but it was a great car. Taken from my driveway in March of 2007 which led me to the 300.

But there's one car that has been with me for 36, almost 37 years...my 1971 Nova SS.

Started in 2000:

'97 Grand Caravan Sport 3.6L V6 - only pimpin' van on vancouver island. 2x 10" Alpine subs, quad captains chairs, and space big enough for 3 kegs... Between my bro and me, this had hit a BMW, a mercedes, a lamp post, a F-250, and gotten 3' of air on a back road before tearing off the oil AND Tranny pans on landing (bro did that one) - traded for Ram 2500
'95 F-150 - wrapped around a phone pole trying to miss a drunk sleeping on the road in a native reserve
'01 Sunfire GTX 2.4L OVHC - lightly engine modded for J-body street racing - became a driver training vehicle... lol
'98 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L - sold to my father.
'89 Plymouth Reliant K bought for $200 as a rig rocket - blew head gasket, rebuilt for case of beer - traded in for $400 after 6 months of use
'98 Dodge Dakota 3.7L V6 metallic blue - 3 accidents not at fault - mildly modded for appearances - traded in
'07 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI "Murder in Progress" heavily modified appearances... engine/interior in the works.
