Default Lowering the 2009 Quad 4x4

Wants to lower my 2009 Quad Sports truck.
Got the impression that Ground Force had a kit for it, but when checking their site, I can only find a kit for the 2wd!
Does anybody out there know if anybody there is a lowering kit for the 2009 4x4?
Also got feedback from my people that the 2009 "sports hood" is on backorder ( Dodge have yet to start making them)? Is that true or are they B-s:ig me??

Cheres

No offense but why would you lower a fullsize 4x4 truck?

There isn't a whole lot of clearence to go lowering. Any performance gains will be offset by suspension and drivetrain binding. I say lift a 4x4 and lower the 2wd.

Although this may seem foolish, I pondered lowering my 4wd truck as well. More specifically, I'd like a leveling kit that would lower the back and leave the front. My thinking is as follows: Lift leveling increases the frontal area of the truck, thereby decreasing highway MPG by a small percentage. I didn't buy the truck for off roading, I have a toy for that purpose, I bought the truck as an all weather tow vehicle for said toy. Therefore, I don't need more ground clearance. I would however like the truck to sit level!

Ground Force Makes the kit. It's the same kit for QC and CC 4x4's...Google it and you will find some. Ground Force site is not up to date but call them and they will give you the kit number.

And don't worry about the nay-sayers. Everybody has an opinion but if you want your 4x4 lowered then go for it...I did

Default Reason for lowering

Thanks for all the advise guys!

Since the roads here in Stockholm are either wet or snow/ice covered for about 5 months a year, I decided to get a 4x4 this time.
I'm not planning to camping, trecking or anything like that.

I did my journey into the wilderness with my 2wdr SRT10 last july!
Some pics can be seen here:

Mike, your truck looks great, did you modify the "NightRunner" headlights
yourself or are they bought that way?

Cheers

In case there are other fools like myself who are interested, Ground Force reports that they should have a lowering level setup available in a few weeks.
