I didn't upgrade my tranny (when i had my '03 Hemi Ram) and it went out at 70,000 miles.

I did get it covered under the warranty even though the truck was heavily modded.

Here's some options, all of which we sell on Moe's.

-Transgo HD2 shift kit: $84.99, does improve shift firmness some

-Sharadon Performance Valve body: $325 plus $500 refundable core charge.
Very good and popular mod.
Should help tranny last since it makes the tranny shift faster.

-Sharadon Performance Stage 2 Transmission $2200 (i think that's right) plus $1000 refundable core charge.
Also very good upgrade

-Suncoast clutches, not all of which are on Moe's but we can get it.

I cant belive no body told you about this one. I did this to my o3 ram 1500 hemi big dif. Under the hood on left back fire wall computer stuff. Pull the #10pin green wire with the yellow line on it. The truck will have firmer shifts and will get a whell in 2nd. The will be no broblems works great. Thats why for 2004 they dodge went to 2 computers on the fire wall. To stop this and other things. Love it!!!!!

If im correct that would be your Electronic stability Program wire. if by " will get a wheel in 2nd" you mean your truck seems to have alot more power on the lower end. is what they do is limit the fuel flow to the engine to reduce wheel spin while accelerating away from a lite or wherever you might be. Be careful you might or might not run into problems pulling the pin. I was going to try and find the wire myself on my 2004 but just decided i would lay off of it. They guys who have the newer dodges have the option to flip a switch to turn ESP on or OFF.

I just received my Sharadon stage 2 valve body, and TCI torque convertor, hopefully it will help me some as well.
