Just found this forum and this thread, which is exactly what I was searching for! Took these instructions and did this mod to my Ram and it worked! This chime was almost my only complaint about the Dodge and now it's gone!!! I've found a ton of answers in my manual but I guess I never thought there would actually be instructions IN the manual for such a thing.

Next step for me is finding out if there's a way to be able to use the NAV system while driving. It locks out the entry functions when moving... even the passenger can't input anything! Highly annoying. I understand it's not good for the driver to be punching in an address while driving but it should unlock the "block" when there's a passenger seated I think.

lol just finished with the seatbelt chime deactivation trick. worked like a charm. hehe my first Ram mod.

an yes i wear my seatbelt all the time on public roads... just when re-arranging vehicles in driveway; private land; or when collecting scrap metal down dirt roads when im in and out alot and only moving truck 30 feet or so, its nice to have it shut off.

Opening your nav and dvd player by the way will require either the "lockpick" or the "All gig TV/NavTv" I'm going to go with the lockpic because it will give me hook up for my ipod and front camera as well as opening dvd and nav up
