Chris sent you a pm about seat covers.

Hey guys the winterfronts Chris is selling, are a smoking deal.
Out of curiousity i phoned Chryco and they list them at $300.00.
This winter they're a worthwhile investment.

Chris,

thanks for the info for Greenwood Rentals!! That man is a class act, helped me out with the trailer.

On that note.

Picked up the 24ft enclosed trailer and left the city at 9:15 am, drove to Salmon Arm, BC. Flat front so the wind drag was pretty brutal, the wind was sketchy when it was empty and crappy roads in the mountains were not fun at all. $215 in gas to get there. Loaded the couches/bed, then the 95 Eagle Talon, then all of her boxes and such, turned around and drove back to Calgary. It weighed me down a little which pointed my nose up a bit, since it was night time with crappy weather I threw the fogs on, got over 30 highbeams from truckers on the way home. another $250 in gas... got back into the city at about 1am.

1200km, 15 hours, 2 energy drinks and a sore butt later, friend is here and not grateful at all...

moral of the story, dont go out of your way for just anyone.

LOL,you aren't the only young guy who's let the little head do the thinking.
I used to drive a young gal back home to her parents every week-end in my younger days, and then pick her back up on Sunday nights and drive her back to her monday to friday job.
Close to a 300 mile round trip, never got any gas money,or anything else, lol
I did that about a 1/2 dozen times before the lightbulb came on.
When you're 20 the little guy does way to much thinking.

Don't feel bad Banzai, you're not alone

That sucks Travis. I've been burned like that as well. Not $250 in gas and 1200kms burned but helped a coworker move, showed up with a cargo van since she had no license. Only to find she hadn't packed a SINGLE THING and didn't even have any boxes. So everything had to be moved piece by piece into the van and out of it. Had to make 3 trips from her tiny little basement suite in the SE up to one in the NW. Finished moving her at 12:30 at night after dealing with her being pissy and bitchy that her matress got a bit dirty. Just in time for a snow storm to blow in and I had to take the van back to enterprise and drive back home to Strathmore in my rwd pickup still. I worked the next day and she called in. Then complained to my friend and I that we got her in trouble because we were noisey going up and down the stairs when we were bringing her stuff in. I was so pissed, never got so much as a thank you. Now I have an absolutely will not help anyone move policy (unless they're a really close friend and have heard this story and know better)
Some people are just really ungrateful and think everyone just owes them it seems.

Sorry gang I did forget to mention these are BRAND NEW with the leather bags to store them away in the spring.

Thanks Rick, sorry I did forget to mention they are new hahahah. Glad you are happy, thank you for the compliment on the car, i take pride in turning an underdog into a contender with the big boys, tends to give them one hell of a shock when they find out what's really under the hood hahaha.

Nufy they're a good deal, and Chris takes the time to show you how they go on.
Not that they're hard to install, but it's always nice to have a heads up on the first install.
