Well, that's what I am about to do.
I have a buyer for my stock 5.2L and am gonna go with a 408 forged stroker based on the Magnum block and a custom program. What's nice is that I can re-use my accessory drive and all sensors to remain emissions compliant.
I won't be able to go as wild as I would like with the cam but will be somewhere around 380 - 400 HP at the crank.
But first, the body needs some attention. It was vandalized last year plus I've wanted to convert the front to a Ram Sport fascia, OEM fogs with an HID upgrade, single piece headlights with an HID upgrade and a few other bits and pieces.
Gonna lift it first and put on some 35's and that's gonna happen soon. When I don't need it for Winter driving, I'll get started on the body work and accessories.
I'll do the engine in 2011. As far as the PCM goes, I'll do two flashes. One for the truck and one in reserve in case something goes wrong with the first one.
I guess I'm doubly lucky to have the HD drivetrain!
