Default So what is first?

Those were awesome mods. So should I start with intake and exhaust?
Which intakes are the best for the money? Cgs,K&N? How bout air raid?

Many will tell you that intake and exhaust first are good. And they would be right, however I would suggest going with a programmer. Superchips makes great programmers for the 360. As far as intakes go, I am not sure. I just know that K&N is a huge waste, seeing as they are like $500, or you can get knock-offs that are just as nice for much less. At least that's what I see. I am sure some other people will answer back as well soon enough.

Programer would be nice ..yes. I for one would like one someday but$$$$. I did buy a K&N filter.CAI. I made my own 4Inch tube. Cost was $100 canadian. K&N ive had before thats why i got one. Airaid , K$N, banks, many more are good. A good brand name wont dissapoint. Exhaust is my next plan. Not sure to go duals or single? Good luck on your decission and it is that..yours. Keep us posted. I've done back to back dyno runs with cool down testing CAI versus a K&N panel filter.. There is not enough difference to justify the cost difference. I made the same HP with my SRT-10 with a CAI as I did with the panel filter. Same goes for my 03 which had the Airaid CAI. Not worth it to me, although some make them sound more aggresive when you're under WOT.

I'd check out the BFI intake as well.

Intake, exhaust and a programmer are the basic best-bang-for-the-buck mods you can do.

That was alot of great advice. I did some price checking and cgs intake is 315.00.
K&N was 323.00, and air raid was 250.00. What kind of programmer am I looking for? Is it just a chip? Can I chip give me top end and bottom end?

A good programmer will give you horsepower gains through your entire RPM range. Of course, you will feel it most when your truck hits its power band, my truck likes it from 3k to about 4500. It physically isn't a chip, most are a hand-held little horsepower creating, almost GameBoy looking thing. Like I have said 100 times, I recommend SuperChips.

I have an airaid and am happy with it. The only drawback to it is it pulls air from the engine compartment and not the cooler air from the fender but I can still tell a difference in preformance.
