Default Corner Lights Will not Turn Off

Hey guys. Went to a hockey game last night, get out of the truck all the switches say the lights are off and the front corner lights, tail lights and liscence plate lights are all on and won't shut off.... lucky the battery was good enough to get it started again and get me home after the game but the lights still wont shut off. had to unhook the batter last night before bed.

Ideas?

its an 05 Ram Hemi

Using your switch, turn the lights to full off then on then off. Check the lights. If they are still on, the switch is bad and will have to be replaced is my guess.

Look for a "park lamp relay" in the Integrated Power Module under the hood. It should be on the driver's side. I took a look at the diagrams for my 02, I would say that relay is stuck. Pull it and see if the lights go out.

yes there are two in the 05 in the pdc under the hood, lights go out. swapped with new relay, lights come back on. right once you plug it in it jumps to on. like its getting a power signal.... I found some posts saying that older models had pdc issues. I'm REALLLLLy hoping its not that... they are expensive and I just bought the truck lol

If the lights go out when you pull the relay, then something is causing a ground condition at pin 86 on the relay. The ground runs to the front control module, which is notorious for going bad.

I don't know about all that. I just have access to factory service info, but I'm glad to help just the same.
