I don't understand how someone comes on a DODGE RAM forum and complains about Chrysler, and suggests that they close their doors. I love my Ram to death, I have driven plenty of cars, and have worked on many in my automotive tech training and as a hobby. I will tell everyone I know that my Ram has been the best vehicle I have driven, its been in the shop twice for anything other then an oil change. I can confidently say that unless Chrysler closes its doors for good, and none of its brands survive, I will drive them for the rest of my life. BTW, I have made this decision at the young age of 19.

What I don't understand is why people would keep something they hate...but maybe that's just me. I guarantee I can log into Mitchell On-Demand and pull "dangerous" recalls from every manufacturer listed.

Despite the fact that you just opened yourself for flaming on a pro-Dodge forum here...

The reason I think that Chrysler would not take your letter seriously is the lack of correct grammar.

now, chrysler is owned by us,meaning bailed out by our tax money.

in my humble opinion, when and if they ever repay the bailout
they should close their doors forever.

we will miss the eye candy, but not the un-resolved often dangerous

I think that Granpaclint is very upset and when people are upset they get emotional. I don't think his statements are justified. All auto manufacturers have problems with something or other. My VW Jetta TDI (diesel) was the biggest headache with frequent burnt lights, check engine lights, broken window motors, sensors that needed replacing. It just wouldn't stop. But you know what? I sold it and I said that I will never buy another VW again and I haven't. So if you have a thing against Chrysler then sell your truck and don't buy another Chrysler again so you can move on with your life.

I have heard that Chrysler doesn't issue recalls often at all, and that they sometimes are hesitant to handle some warranty issues and stuff, but in my experience my truck hasn't needed any work done. And I have to agree with lamateo76. If you hate your truck, don't go on a forum for said truck to diss it. Put it up for sale in one of the many websites available for such services, and buy yourself something "better". I have no idea what you are trying to achieve. You have stated no proof of why your Chrysler insulting is justified. Your letter almost sounded like a poem to Chrysler insults. So make a point as to why you would do such a stupid thing or get outta here.

Ever hear of a seatbelt? When riding in a vehicle, I've never reached for the dash in a sudden stop.

What a vivid imagination you have there! I've seen more than a few bad dashes. I have a 1998 dash that hasn't shown any signs of cracking. I have a 1997 dash that is cracked across the center. We have a 1999 Ram at work that the top of the dash fell in. I've never seen them come apart and decapitate anybody. Air bags falling out is absurd. If you want to be taken seriously, quit being stupid.

Takre it from me, Chrysler is hardly hesitant to issue recalls or fix things under warranty. Fact is most of the time you run into a warranty issue, it's the dealership and not Chrysler that's being hesitant.
