Default Does this stereo fit? (asap!!)

Hi,
I found a stereo for Christmas gift but I don't know if it fits his 2002 ram 1500.
Since I know nothing about these stuff, i need you guys help asap!
Will this stereo fit his dush?

http://cgi.ebay.com/DUAL-XDM6350-CD-...QQcmdZViewItem

it is supposed to be:
Dimensions 2" Height x 7" Width x 7" Depth
Form Factor Single Din

I know it is not the best at all but is a great deal with USB port.Don't you think?!
If it fits, does it easy to install? He has no cd player installed.(just for radio and a cassette tape.)
and all I need is an installation kit and wires?

Any answer, even just an opinion about the stereo would be much much appreciated

Thank you!

It will fit, but you will need an adapter to fill in the oval shaped cutout in the dash and for this to mount properly. Good news is, the adapter (with plugs) can be picked up at Wal-Mart for about $15.

Just installed a Sony in my 2001, the adapter plate and plug adapters were $25. Install was pretty easy.

Yup I checked this morning. It is $15 for the dash kit, and $9 for the harness.

Yes it will fit but, I would also go to crutchfield.com and buy it. They have real fast shipping, usually goes out the same day if you order before 2:00. Plus they also send along some of those little extras (no charge) you will need that you will probably not get from the eBay sale.

Crutchfield is a pretty reputable company and they stand behind there products and also give you a warrenty. You can go on their site, put in the truck information and they will list the radios that will fit your vehicle.
