Default Lifting A V6 Opinions

Just bought a 2016 V6 has a little over 20k miles on it. Thinking about throwing a 2- 2.5" lift on it and 20" Rims... suggestions and opinions would be great. Will this cause any performance issues or make the truck sluggish? This would be purely be done for the looks of the truck.

Thanks all

Adding larger tires will kill performance a wee bit not matter how you look at it, even with the Hemi. Pro comp makes a lift for your truck, it will look ok sweet, get it done. With the right tires all you need is low end torque anyways. Is it a 4x4?

Nothing wrong with your V6, I suggest pro-comp, as others have pointed out, they may notbe the " best " in the world, but they certainly get the job done. Are you wanting to budget boost, or?

Ok I will look into them, I simply want something that will fit a little bigger tire instead of just getting rims for the stock size. Im not exactly on a budget with what I want to do I just know throwing money into a vehicle is a losing investment so I try to limit.

The truck is getting tint tomorrow and everything is getting debadged tomorrow, I am pulling the back ram emblem off and getting it wrapped with the MD flag. After that I want to do lift rims and running boards. Then little things here and there as I go after.

OP look at Bilsteins
The pro-comp 6" in the lift and 4-inch lifts have been vastly altered in the refresh at the end of 2015. I have a 6", and I abuse the hell out of mine, admittedly, I don't have enough miles for me to be anything more than an opinion on the matter. I will say it rides better than stock, IMO.

The warranty is also very good, and it covers your powertrain on the off chance dodge won't, for whatever reason. either way, there are better kits, but because some guys had issues with pre-2016 models doesn't mean it's a bad kit. It's considerably better than some others as well.

Either way, whatever you pick, make sure you show pics!
