Default Good Dealership Experience

Well, most of the time you hear about horror stories, so I thought I would share a small but positive account of my latest dealership experience.

I took my 2009 1500 to the dealership I bought it from because of a cosmetic issue. One tip of the dual exhaust stuck out slightly further than the other one. Also, there had always been a slight rattling coming from the front driver-side wheel area during low-speed bumpy/graded turns. So, I dropped it off and picked it up later in the afternoon. They used a torch and were able to adjust the exhaust to align the tips, and the rattling was due to the wheel well shield/guard rattling around, and they secured that.

To my delight, not only did they correct my original concerns, but also addressed and fixed other "recall/TSB" issues. They told me they resealed the third brake-light due to possible water leakage. I had yet to notice any water leaks, but I'm glad they were proactive about it. Also, they checked the driver-side weather-strip/band (?), but said no problems were present, so that was good to go.

I quickly signed my name on the dotted line and out the door I went in about 2.5 minutes, no questions asked. I love it when things work out.

It's great to read these stories because as you said, we don't hear enough of them.

My dealer is great to deal with from sales to parts to service.

Glad it worked out for you!

That is a good story, and I agree, not very many of those coming from dealerships, but glad to hear your experience was a good one. Before the dealership I bought my truck from closed down the Chrysler side, had my truck in for an oil change. I was asking the guy what would be the best type brush to clean the millions of bugs off the radiator. He gave me his recommendation and I thought nothing more than cool, thanks bud, I'll go pick one up. Guess I was so used to them being there it wasn't until I got home that I noticed he had cleaned up all that mess for me!

Therein lies a problem. A satisfied customer tells 2-3 people on average whereas a dissatisfied customer will tell 10. That's why Chrysler launched a new customer satisfaction program this month.
