Default Suspension Lifts

for those of you with suspension lifts- which kit did you install, what tire size are you running and why?

I've gotten a little curious about suspension lifts lately (not really a fan of body lifts), and found a website that was saying certain brands are better depending on if you're looking for cost, off-road performance, or ride quality. I'm just trying to get some more opinions, see what else is out there, etc.

Thanks for the help

I have an RCD 6" suspension lift and a PA 3" body lift, running 37x13.5x17 Toyo M/T's

I liked the looks of the RCD, everything had a great powder coating to it and came with everything you needed. It included new braided brake lines, Bilstein shocks. Some of the other ones you had to buy all that stuff separately. Plus the price was not bad at all, installed cost from the shop that did it was cheaper then I could buy the set up online.

I understand that Dodge was talking about going together with one of the lift companies and offering the 09's with I believe it was a 4" suspension lift which would also be covered under the factory warranty. I'm thinking it was SuperLift but, not sure.

i just put a daystar 2" lift and I put 305/55/20 BFG All Terrain KOs. I like the look of the kit, makes the truck a little meaner. i wanna do a bigger lift myself haha, but I think for everyday daily driver the 2" lift is well worth it. It might even be 2.5", might got a little more out of it

I don't know who they partnered with on it but, yes, there is a 4" Mopar lift available for the DS series trucks. It won't void your warranty or interfere with the ESP/BAS either.

That is what I have been hearing, have not seen anything at the dealers about it but, I have seen some pictures of the 09's with the 4" suspension lift, I believe it would come with 35" tires on it too. The pictures I've seen, the 09's look real sweet with that set up.

Remerson, I'm guessing it's only for 4wd's right?

I wish I could find something for my 2wd. I just want to raise it a few inches for a higher stance. I'm not going off road anyways. So far everything I find is pre 2009 or for 4wd trucks.

The Mopar lift is a rebadged 4-inch Superlift system.

I went with the 6-inch Pro Comp system since it reused the stock shocks (which are brand new since I just bought my truck a few months ago) and retains the smooth ride. I also went with BFG LT285/65R20/E ATs which are 34.7 inches tall and mounted on 20x8.5 Eagle chrome wheels. I went with that setup as I wanted a taller tire without going too fat on the width, so ended up more with a 2500 look which I like.

Default lift

Bilstein 5100 2" coilovers. Real good quality and more lift than Rancho Quick Lift. Very good price too. Running 285/70/17s (33x11.50).
