Post Exhaust Suggestions

I have a 2001 Ram 1500 4x4 QC with the 5.9 and I've been looking for a new exhaust. I need something not very expensive but sounds good and helps with the performance. Any suggestions.

Cheap? Sounds good? Performance? Sounds like a straight pipe setup to me!

Well, good and cheap don't mix usually, but I gotta agree with Remerson. Straight pipe FTW!!

Magnaflow muffler/3 inch piping.

Look into headers also.

I went with a Magnaflow Single In / Dual Out muffler and new tailpipes. I like the way it sounds.

My setup cost me $200 installed and out the door. I have 2.5" pipe from the cat back to a y-pipe, 3.5" tips out at the bumper corners. Its really loud, maybe too much so sometimes. But it was cheap, sounds great, and doesn't negatively affect performance at all. And it flows free for a little boost when a CAI and things like that are added for better airflow. I dunno, just for you to get the creative juices flowing.
