Not real sure what you mean . What do you mean by making the t/c a divorced unit ?

I would like to install the t/c directly to the trans, But i am not sure how to install it. do I need to change the output shaft? If i can not, then i would like to covert the t/c to a divorce unit and install it. I realy do not know about this new technology.

You would need to change your trans to a 4x4 trans . Output shaft housing is totally different . Your not thinking of converting your 2wd truck to a 4x4 are you ?

Here's a thread where this was discussed by someone else asking the same question.

http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread....ght=conversion

If you do a forum search for "conversion" you'll get some other threads.
