That 10 degrees was the high today for me.

I would ask the other dirver: "So did you learn your lesson about winter driving?"
Nice and slow is the way to go.
I hate all the soccer moms in their suvs who think they are safe and can drive fast, but I can't leave the in the ditch because of kids.

Thank goodness you and Blue are ok, but must have been a sight in your rearview mirror, lol, but most likely, I would have been laughing under my breath on the way to help the guy out. Perhaps he was a snow transplant like you who just hadn't received the kind advice of good friends to help him out haha! But like 300 said, karma does work both ways.

Perhaps you can instruct a winter driving class next season, lol, that way you can teach everyone what NOT to do. Maybe if I could just teach a driving class period, might not have so many people tick me off on the road!

Now those temps, we gotta tell the Canadians they can KEEP their air , (no offense to anyone, but this winter weather is crazy cold!) but stay safe if you have to go out!!!

OK, im from omaha n drive a lot, get used to the cold. Its in the negatives all week here and we have bout 2ft on the ground. The BEST thing you could have done besides driving if possible to avoid someone hitting you its to put the car in neutral and foot off the break. This goes for being in the snow or just dry pavement. It will minimize the damage done to your vehicle, believe me this works. Also if you begin sliding in the snow put it in neutral again, its weird but try it next time it snows you WILL stop faster in neutral then drive

Actually, I've heard about shifting it to neutral. Never had to so far. But it makes sense.
