Default WTH Dodge

So I am in the market for a replacement for my '03 3500 CTD that I use to pull my dump trailer, and I found a nice deal on an '09.
3500 ch/c 4x4 Quad Cab - SLT - CTD - Auto - nice flatbed for $37k
Now the deal is that I want to lease it for tax reasons, a TRAC lease so I get unlimited miles. I'm already set up with a third party leasing company and all I have to do is tell them what I want and they get it and lease it to me. Easy enough.
Well the sales manager said if I was going through this leasing company then no deal as he would loose too much on it, however he did say that he could get me into a TRAC lease through Chrysler or whoever they use. OK fine.
They couldn't get the paperwork done on saturday so he said to take it for the weekend. Awesome.
So today they call and say that on their lease...brace yourself...it's only a 25% interest rate (.010 money factor) and we're ready to go!

Gave the truck back this afternoon and informed them of their insanity.

Oh yeah, that would be a $1,200.00 payment, instead of the $675 or so I had figured on.

25% interest rate? Are they financing you through a Loan Sharks Financial? That's ridiculous for them to even try to push that on you. You should have told him that you'd buy him dinner with a side of go F($*# yourself.

That is seriously screwed up. NOBODY would offer a 25% interest rate... that's what, prime + 20%? And how would they lose money on your lease company? That makes no sense to me.

Apparently Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Georgetown, TX would...

The truck would be sold below invoice, with a $5,000 up-fit bed on it, is my only guess on why they said they would lose money. I'm not sure how they figure that anyway.
