An SLT of that vintage with low miles is retail valued at around $8,800.00 so I suspect the limited SST would probably command a $1200 to $1500 premium above that.

I was thinkin any where from $9 to $10 grand myself. In great condition with basically no miles sounds like a great find. What are they askin for it?

Well Idk how much that might be worth, but I bought my 97 SS/T for 4 grand. Has 116,000 miles. Very clean on the inside. Had some paint chips on the door and tailgate and a messed up hood latch.

Not sure what they are wanting for it yet. I think they are wanting me to make an offer. I am wanting to find out approx. what it is worth before I make an offer. The people that own it now bought it new.

I think you have a baseline now. They can't expect a whole lot more for a 1998 truck despite the low miles and limited SST production.

Good luck!

Mine was listed as 12000 before we talked them 6 after tax. 98 with lots of modifications though. However, the SS/T really is unrecognized as a rare. Yes, production numbers are low, but it was never advertised. It's by no means meant to go down in history as a great vehicle. I'd expect about 9000 for that vehicle with that low of miles.

I know it had stripes on the paint but was their any difference to a standard ram mechanically? Just wondering.
