Default Gears??

I have been looking around at gears and all I see are 4.10s and 4.56s. Is there anything in between? I think I have 3.92s right now but I not sure. If they are 3.92s I'm not sure how much difference 4.10s would be?

That would be perfect. I wish they still made them.

if you have 3.92's now then 4.10's would be a waste...I've always went with the theory of 3.55's upgrade to 4.10's, and 3.92's to 4.56's...and yes, 4.30's would be ideal... I'm kinda close to that with 4.10's and runnin 275/60-17's (shorter then stock) for daily driving..

I'm pretty sure I have 3.92's, I have the tow package for sure. I kinda felt the same about the gears but wasn't sure. I have the stock 20'' wheels so 4.56's would probably help a lot.

Would it be possible to do a gear swap and not jeopardize the warranty??

I think the warranty might have issues with that. But that is something they will never know unless something goes wrong with that particular part of the truck.

I agree with chefred, if you have 3.92 than 4.10 would be a waste. The 4.56 would be nice, I think your MPG might take a hit haha. your going to be using the right foot a little more haha

Yes unless you get OEM gears installed like me. Scatpack, you will need a pcm reflash with the new gears so yes a dealer can tell if you have done them. IMO go all OEM they will warranty it, and a 4.56 on stock rims is a bit much for DD

Probably. It really depends on what you want out of your truck. What ratios do you have now?
