Default Ever Heard Cherry Bomb Vortex In Person????

This muffler actually sounds pretty good on the youtube videos but I can't really find a video with what I'm wanting to do seems like everybody has dual setups. I just want to replace the muffler and get a slash cut 4" tip everything else will be stock and I can't decide between the vortex or the super 44 and nobody has either one in my area. Seems from the videos the vortex has a better sound to it than the flowmaster though which is suprising.

That's kinda where I'm at I don't usually like to be the test dummy would suck to get it on there and hate it lol. It's about the same price as the super 44 also. I just want a mean deep aggresive sound without the raspy popping on decel like the original flowmaster 40 series. I think I might give it a shot I'll be the first in my area so if it turns out sounding amazing that'll be a plus lol.

Yup. I plan on being the first in this area to run one of Summit's mufflers.

well ill tell you one thing,i was a test dummy with mine and i learned from it. Im running a flowmaster 50 series with 3" in and dual 3" out the side and its far too quite.Wish i would have went with a 40 series or just nothing at all and let it roar.lol

I have it on my 06 ram 1500 hemi ...the vortex is lined with fiberglass so will get louder over time. It sounds great from the cab but is more high pitched outside. It's not overly loud so if your looking for something really rugged i would buy the extreme muffler or even a couple glass packs if sound is all your looking for. Ive had mine on for about 2 months now and am noticing a sound difference.

Then reason fro the 50 is to handel the flow of your Hemi. Have look at Gibson Super Truck Exhaust, and if you just want loud just put a cut out on.

Well I'm not really looking for the loudest muffler just a good deep throaty sound ya know what I mean. I don't wanna piss the neighbors off but I want it to be heard lol. I wonder if the Flowmaster super 44 would be a better choice then. The Cherry Bomb Xtreme sounds pretty good on youtube but it might be too loud and it sounds like it has that popping sound on decel that I hate. Thanks for your replies though I'm still not sure which way I'm going to go.
