WHEEL ALIGNMENT



NOTE: All alignment specifications are in degrees.
NOTE: All wheel alignments are to be set with the vehicle at curb height.

Left Right

Camber - Preferred - .10 deg. Preferred -.10 deg.
Range -.40 to .60 deg. Range - .60 to .40 deg.

Cross Camber Preferred - .20deg. Range - -.30 to .70 deg.

Caster (20's) - 3.50 deg. 3.90 deg.
Range - 3.00 to 4.00 deg. Range - 3.40 to 4.40

Cross caster - -.40 deg. Range - -.90 to .10

Caster (17's) - 3.50 deg. 3.75 deg.
Range - 3.00 to 4.00 deg. Range - 3.25 to 4.25 deg.

Cross Caster - -.25 deg. Range - -.75 to .25 deg.

Toe - .10 Split equally between both sides. Range - .0 to .20 deg.

went to the alignment shop today...big song and dance. they put it on the rack and everything was off. they insisted that unless i could give them "new specs" to go by cause it was lowered, they couldnt do anything. they told me the factory specs were useless cause it was lowered. the only thing they agreed to change was the toe. funny thing is that it fixed my problem.

Those guys are just plain wrong. Factory specs still apply as long as they can be brought within tolerance. Sounds to me like they just didnt want to fight with the upper control arms to get the caster and camber right. Did you happen to get a copy of the final settings?

they didnt even want to try to do anything with it. all they would do was the toe setting and they didnt give me a printout

Find yourself another alignment shop. If the camber is out excessively it will cause premature tire wear on the edges. Any moron with a 24mm wrench can set the toe but it takes an alignment specialist to get it right.
