Default Power programmer for GAS 5.2 5.9 V-8

Has anyone used or using a power programmer on their RAM gasser? Anyone try the $50 E-bay programmers? The $400 name brands? How about dyno or E.T. times or other info like mileage improvements to share? I was thinking of some affordable power for my '95 rusted to pieces 2500 HD 5.9 gasser AT, plow truck with 8800# springs. I only paid $1500 for her with the plow & it looks like it! A true New York truck. For me this truck needs more torque and economy. I don't see a cold air kit, 3 in exhaust or other improvements in the future. Maybe brake & fuel lines or a ratchet strap to hold up the gas tank thou. I found little to no info on these for Dodge so I hoped some of you have. Are you happy with what you bought and did it deliver what it promised?

From what I have read Superchips has the best for the 5.9. That is what I hope to buy someday. DO NOT BUY THOSE EBAY HACK CHIPS

You can always make you own cold air intake like I did to save some money. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=42653

Often times what you get from eBay for $40 or $50 is not a chip at all, but just a 99 cent resistor that you plug inline with the coolant temp sensor, which makes the computer think the engine is always cold, dumping more fuel into the engine, which makes for a slightly better seat of the pants feel at low to mid RPMs. It will also make your fuel mileage drop big time, and may result in carbon build up in the engine.
