Default Fog lights/parking lights always on

Hi all,
Newbie here. Todays puzzler is: When turning off the headlights on my 2002 Ram 1500 4x4 the fog lights turn on and running lights including the dash lights stay on when the switch is in the off posistion. The headlights do turn off but the parking lights stay on and fog lights come on when the switch is off . Help!!!

I found that if i have the lights on, then turn off the engine, then try and turn off the lights, they lights will stay on for a while, so i just turn the lights on and then back off and they go out. Not sure if that's what you mean. I have a 2002 also.

New body style (Gen 3) is the DR. Just off the top of my head, I'd say you have a front control module failure. It's pretty common in the early Gen 3 bodied trucks.

I'd let them check it first if you aren't familiar with electrical doagnostics.

Thanks! I called them and left a message for service to call and make an appointment. No call back in over 3 hours. Oh well. guess they don't need the business...
