Any idea how to tell what transmission comes with the 4.7?
454RE or 545RFE?
The 46RE, 47RE, and 48RE comes with the 2500 and 3500 right?
Im coming up on 100k, I want an aluminum trans-pan install for cooler operations. Summit and Jegs have nothing for our trucks. Any ideas on what or where?

No such thing as a 454 RFE. You have the 545RFE. http://www.y2kota.us/deeppan.html

That I dont know but you could always put a small magnet inside on the bottom of the spin on filter. I always put magnets in the engine oil and trans pans of my race car. I've even seen some people put them in the lifter valley next to the oil returns.

Glad to help. Be sure you use an approved ATF+4 when you change the fluid and filters and make sure you prime the spin on filter or your truck won't move out of its tracks when you put it in gear. I've got a list of approved fluid posted in the knowledge base if you need to check.

make sure you prime the spin on filter or your truck won't move out of its tracks when you put it in gear. Whats the process for that? Is it the same way you do an oil filter that mounts to the bottom of an engine?

Exactly the same. Filler it up, let it soak in and repeat a couple of time and you should be good to go.
