hey guys ive had this mod done for six months now and no problems whatsoever, its amazing what difference this mod can make. even with a motor that has 268,000 miles on it like mine. i recentlly drove a 2000 dodge ram 4x4 just like mine only his has a 360. and when i went to get on it..............nothin. total dissapointment. my 318 had noticably more power and response it was weird drivin a truck with a bigger motor and you hit it to the floor and it just kinda rev's up and goes no where lol

Go to the knowledge base threads Theres at least two that I know of that takes you step by step on removing your TB and another on cleaning it. If you cant find them just hit me up and Ill walk you through it no problem bud

Most simply bolt on with four bolts, you will also have to disconnect any cables or wires attached, clean throttle body with carb cleaner, use a new gasket, you can also use a product like copper coat gasket sealer for an even better gasket seal, torque bolts to proper factory INCH pound settings... Overall a very easy thing to remove and replace

do those pictures get any bigger? I'm working on doing this mod right now, but I couldnt see what all was ground down in the picture very well so I'm pretty sure I've ground too much..... so to all those who havent done this yet or are working on it, JUST GRIND THE WALLS, not the studs that hold the intake in place lol

just finished the mod, pretty easy to do, I am noticing some results but not as dramatic as I thought they would be, i think most of the results mentioned earlier are mainly from the c.a.i. I installed mine nigh on a year ago, got great results from it, I guess if I had done this and put on my K&N at the same time I would be more impressed, but I also only took it for a 30 second test drive, brought it up to 90kph a couple times then parked it again, but I did definitely notice less lag, more throttle response for sure, I've never gone 0-80kph that quickly......so I guess I have seen some good results haha
