Done this a few months back.

I only did ONE SIDE on each BARREL. To keep the IAC from getting a work out and how well it's tuned to the O2 sensors, I had left the walls standing on the IAC side. Just removing the walls from the MAP side of the TB, there is a noticeable response and improved mpg. Yes, I did state improved MPG. Five months prior to this TB mod, I have went with a high flow CAT, muffler and exhaust. SO ... The engine really breathes now.

NOW the funny part. My 5.2L/318cid Magnum engine sounds great like the other red-neck Rams in my town ... AND it's on a 12-passenger Dodge Ram Van Wagon. HAHA

The reason why I didn't do the IAC walls, I had previous issues with the IAC, both O2 sensors and the PCM. Replacing the exhaust, fixing a manifold leak, replaced the clogged CAT still didn't help the O2 sensors. Replace them and the power came back. The O2 sensors are not cheap.

I ended up replacing one of mine but not the other...think it caused my truck to throw a code..have the other 02 replacement and when I order my y-pipe Im gonna take them both down there and get them put on. Hopefully stops the code..

Well looked in the plenum fer oil not a drop that i can see TB has been modified and deffinetly notice pick up when im on it and cooler operating temps, not such a rich smelling exhaust also alot hotter, more low end and top end ... my gas pedal has never had such a smooth feeling to it and is much nicer to see and feel just a little more ummpfff out of this truck ... thing sounds like a shop-vac on steroids got asked if i had a super-charger on it when i test drove it to the corner store to get a pack of smokes and kiddo some candy.
