Does it need to be tightened or loosened ?
The warning may say not to make it too tight.
Being a new truck they are right saying "it shouldn't need to be adjusted", but who knows if it was right from the start. I just thought it would be something easy to check. If they keep track of were it is before they adjust it, they can always put it back if no improvement is seen.

Have you tried another dealer. Just to get a second opinion if nothing else. I know in the boat business there are Premier dealers, who don't need approval to do warranty work. I don't know how the car world is but if it's the same then find a 5 Star dealer and get friendly with the service writer. Part of the reluctance may be because your dealer is not representing you good enough to Mopar.

Acooperjr,

Great idea. LaTonya at Impartial Services Group (Chrysler's buyback mediator) suggested that too. Just had another dealer look at the truck this morning, without telling them about it's past, and they ordered another steering gearbox!!!

Then, this afternoon, I took it to the original dealer, who installed the new track bar and intermediate shaft that they said needed replacement last week....no improvement.... I'm telling you, these boxes are loose from the factory for some reason. Again, any Ram engineers care to comment/explain?!?!?!?

i'm not much of anything, but, i know when there is a problem, like when the beer stash is running low

its time for all of you to start the letter writing campaign, document everything, like who told you what, the names, dates, times, in person or on the phone, emails, etc
if its bad enough, get the tv news involved

I feel like handing out my phone number to new buyers of 2010 heavy duty's, so we can file a class action. Seriously, there has to be a design flaw if Car & Driver noticed it.....

They replaced the rear diff, and now, a week later, it's slamming into drive again... service manager verified it, and it's in again next monday...

Default No time for lemons...

I traded (pawned) this truck off last october, and bought a 2010 Tundra Rock Warrior 5.7 Flex Fuel with all the goodies, and haven't looked back. I know the Toy doesn't have nearly the towing capacity (only 10,300#)...well, at least 3/4 of the towing capacity, but IT WORKS, and that's more important to me...

Dodge/Chrysler/Ram/Jeep have lost a loyal customer for life in the way they handled this. I've owned TWO 2004 Ram 2500's a 2008 Charger SRT8, and the 2010 Ram 2500 TRX4, all bought new, and I will NEVER (nor will I let anyone I know) buy one of their products...

Goodbye, and fare well...

Randy,

I was wondering if you had an email address to LaTonya at ISG. She called me last week about my 2011 Wrangler. It wont let me PM you. Any tips on dealing with this company? I have put together a document I want to send her.

Thanks!
