Default Gauge Pod

I was wondering if anyone knew of an available gauge pod for the '09-'10 Ram. I bought an air bag system for the rear springs and the kit comes with an on board compressor, a momentary on switch to run the compressor and pressure gauge to show the air pressure in the bags. The gauge and switch are pre-installed into a mount, but there is not a good place to install the mount in the truck. I thought I could remove the gauge from the factory mount and install it into a gauge pod, either on the a-pillar or the steering column. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Default A-Pillar Gauge Pod

I found a 2 gauge and 3 gauge A-pillar at Street Beat Customs. They are made for the bully dog setup though. I dont know size or shape of your gauge and switch. Just thought I would let you know. Here is the website:

The gauge is the small standard 2 1/16". The switch is not a big deal...I am sure I can find a spot for that. Thanks for the link!

I called Truck Addons this afternoon to check the availability of a gauge pod and I was told they have them for the steering column, but they are for the 2010 Ram 2500, not the 1500. Are the steering columns different between the 1500 and 2500's? This gauge pod moulds around the column and has the opening for the gauge on top. Anyone know?

Calling Remerson228!!

haha

The columns should be the same. Just make sure they aren't refering to the 2009s.

EDIT: According to Parts.Mopar.com, the 1500s offer two seperate column covers - one for console mounted shifters, and one for column mounted shifters. For the HDs, multiple covers are offered, but there is not much description. The HDs don't offer a floor mounted auto, but they offer a manual, which should give you the same cover... See if they offer a choice before you buy one.

The link above is for a 2003-2009 MY Ram. Look at it - it's for a Gen 3 Ram. Remember, the 09 HDs were still Gen 3. This causes lots of mix ups like this. If you buy this kit, don't expect it to fit without modifying something.

I'm putting mine in the glove box. Might not be the look you're after though.
