Angry 2008 4x4 tie rods

Took the hemi in for an oil change at the dealer today and not to my surprise bad tie rods. You would figure that they would at least put zurk fittings on the tie rods so that they could be greased while you are doing an oil change. But,that's just me.Thank god for warranties seein that it only has 16900 on it!!!

I hardly ever see bad tie rod ends on the Rams but I hear about them on here all the time. Strange to say the least.

It surprised me also.Seeing that I don't offroad or anything like that.My dealership said that they have been running across it preety often lately.Maybe a bad supply at the assembly plant? I thought that I felt a small pop in the front end a couple of times.

Had the tie rods replaced at the dealer yeaterday, and it is amazing how you don't realize how loose the steering is becoming until you have it fixed! The tie rods weren't that bad,but what a change in the handling.

By the way the dealer even thru in a free tire rotation.(Seeing that he had to have them off to set the toe and alignment)
