I'm watching this thread closely...I may learn enough to do my own audio upgrade unless I can convince dodgeman70592 to hit the road and get out here to do it for me!

haha I wish I could get him to do mine but it's always much more satisfying to do it yourself

Yes it is. Especially when you decide to step up to a 3-way

so I recently found some power acoustik tweeters from my days of working at best buy and I was thinking of combining them with some Dayton 4" speakers and 8" midbass and just building my own 3-way crossovers

the other thought was just a 6x9 2-way component set and then the Dayton speakers crossedover from the amp

in looking for some kind of OEM integration, I came across the audiocontrol lc6i and the dql8 both of which are signal summing processors.....i like the dql8 a little bit better than the lci6 but I'm wondering if it is too much since I'm not looking to spend more than I really need to.

these will also give me the option of tapping in before or after the infinity amp. what do y'all think about these especially compared to say the cleansweep or the 3sixty

All of them pretty much do the same thing....Six of one kind of thing. I like the cleansweep because of the calibrations that it does (gives a good flat response) make for a great start to tuning
