Older Rams are WAY better. Why? Because mine are paid for. Car/truck payments suck.

I like the looks of the older ones better. The interiors of the new ones are too car like for me. I don't want a full length console in a truck. Trucks were made for bench seats. I just wish the Hemi was available in 1998.

Well just to let you know I own both new and old..........I own a 2007 Dodge Ram Quad Cab with the 5.7 Hemi and I also own a 1973 Dodge W100 Stepside with a bored out 360. The 07 has only been modified to the point of an after market breather assembly with future plans of ditching the MDS and installing a true dual exhaust system on it. The 73 is my pride and joy it is a full time 4x4 with a 30 over 360, 750cfm carb driving a 727 torque flight with an NP204 transfer with a 2300 stall sending the power to a front Dana 44 and a rear Chrysler 9 3/4" which in turn turns the 33" mudders I run, it is my play thang! I use it during bad weather to pull FORD's and CHEVY's out of the itty bitty holes they get stuck in...Bwhahaha!

I'm with ya bud. Paid off and I wish I could have a Hemi in my '97. But the older Ram's rule over the newer ones.

Well this is my first truck, but my dad has always had trucks. He had a 78 ford for YEARS, and loved how solid they were built. Then he had a 1996 dodge ram 2500 with the cummins, nice lookin truck. Now he has a 06 3500 cummins, unforutnately he got a real lemon there, that thing is always broken. Almost scared me away from buying my 2010 dodge, ALMOST being the key word.

Out of all of them though, i love the newer one the best

Silly me, when I read the title I thought it meant "older" rams like 70s and 80s.

I have ALWAYS own older Dodge's. I love the classic looks to them, and I'm old enough to remember when you bought a truck new, they didn't have interious equal to a car. You got a radio, bench seat, and a rubber floor mat. That was about it. Am, I never had any problem with it.
