These movies are still good even though they are from the 80's.

As much of a Charles Bronson fan as I am, the Death Wish series to me really only consisted of I and II. The remaining ones are just silly. I remember seeing 3 when it came out and liking it, but I sat down to watch it a few months ago and thinking how infantile it really was, even for the mid 80s. Of course, that's just my opinion. I purposely don't watch "Highlander" any more for fear that I may come to the same conclusion.

Love the Indiana Jones series, even liked the last one fairly well. Star Wars? No question. Simply awesome, although Episode One was the weakest by far.

Of the list posted, I'd have to choose LOTR. I can watch those again and again and not tire of them.

Finally, I'm just a sucker for 007 movies, even though some of them (The World is not Enough, Die Another Day) are just awful. I still watch 'em and enjoy!

Hard to choose a favorite....I probably don't like more than half of that list though. I don't know....die hard comes to mind as a series that is enjoyable...as does the evil dead movies. So many to choose from. I'm just happy not one has mentioned the T word yet...

I like most of the choices, but picked the one I felt most comfortable with.

As for some of the other's mentioned...

Never could stand the Charles Bronson movies. Always seemed like...get Clint Eastwood! The budget is how much? Oh, well then get Charles Bronson.

Die Hard? They all seemed to me to be the exact same movie except in different settings. If they made another one I think if Bruce Willis wore drag and played a woman it would still be exactly the same as the first 3.

Back to the future 1 and 3. I can do without the second one.

Like Sean said, I like the Evil Dead movies just because they're "different".

What about Monty Python's History of the world?
