Default Alignment specs?

Anyone know the specs or know where I can find the specs for my 08 qc 2wd with 3" lifting spindles? The truck has been to the alignment shop 4 times since last Monday and it still won't go straight. Apparently the lift spindles change the geometery of the suspension so the factory specs don't work. The shop said if I can get the specs for the lift, they will tune it to those specs. Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated?

Any alignment man worth his salt can make one go straight even without factory specs. Is it pulling the same direction each time?

Yes sir, it pulls right. They said without a spec sheet of some sort, they can't just do trial and error.

It's not trial and error, it's geometry. What all was done when the spindles were installed? Bigger tires or anything like that? Was it pulling, even a little, before the spindles went on?

It was rolling perfectly straight before the spindles went on. The spindles were the only things done in the front, lift shackles were installed in the back. I've told the shop to loosen the right and tighten the left just a hair, but they won't do anything without a spec sheet. I guess this is what I get for going to a chain instead of someone independent.

Did you get a spec sheet from them after the alignment was done? I'd love to see the numbers.

Ask and you shall recieve. The first one is from the first attempt and the second one is from the last attempt. Let me know if you can see the numbers well enough.

It'sn pretty clear why it pulled after the first alignment. Negative camber and less positive caster on the right side pretty much ensured that and it goes completely opposite the factory specs which are set to counter a pull to the right.

Left camber...+.10 deg
Right camber...-.10 deg
Cross camber...+.20 deg

Left caster...+3.50 deg
Right caster...+3.90 deg
Cross caster...-.40 deg

Left toe...+.18 deg
Right toe...+.18 deg
Total toe...+.38 deg

These are the factory preferred settings for the '08 1500, both 2WD and 4WD. If they get those right it should make a difference.

Great, thanks! I'll see if they can get to those numbers for me.

A decent alignment man would know what those numbers mean. I'm guessing that the guy doing yours is some flunkie off the street that figures as long as the numbers are green, everything's ok. Wrong answer! I keep a tailors style measuring tape for checking tire circumferences because a difference there can also cause a pull.
