Depends on the time of year for me. I have 4x4 to get me through Alberta's winter which means 6 months of the year I'm in and out reguarly, but hardly ever in the summer in my Ram. My SuperDuty pretty much got locked in the day I picked it up and only gets switched out for dry pavement only.

I use mine anytime I'm off the pavement just to keep everything functioning properly and well lubricated. I've seen enough shift motors seize from lack of use in Ford products to let mine go unused.
