I keep mine in 4 auto around town for the winter. Some of our streets stay snow covered for a week after a storm.

I use mine once a week or so when on a loose surface. It keeps everything lubricated and in proper working order.

I dont think Ive been any where since I owned it I actually needed it. No mud or snow over 9". I generally use it for the extra control though even if I dont actually need it. I did use it once when pull starting a 80,000 lb truck to access the 2.72 low range for extra gear multiplication.

Up here we're getting very close to the time of year when the ice won't melt during the daytime. Today I had her in 4x4 until the afternoon. I bought TruTraxx a few weeks ago and will be putting this on within the next few days. After Christmas, I'll get some BF A/T's so those, along with the weight will keep me out of 4x4 most of the time.

Normally only during the winter, Its a great piece of mind just having 4x4
capabilities when the road are bad, Oh yeah they look way more better!!!!!

I picked sometimes, but living in Wisconsin, I use it in the winter a lot, not so much in the summer. But I will if I have the time, and can find a place to go off road.
