Default Passenger Seat Nosie

Hey All,

Does anyone know if there is a Service item on the passenger front seat? When I have someone sitting there and i make a Left turn i can hear the sit make a noise. It sounds like it coming from the "rails" on the Seat .... Thought i would see if anyone is having that issue too!

Thanks
Nick

TSB 23-011-09 addresses this issue:

The seats may make a squeak, clicking or creak sound when:
i.
Stopping and accelerating

ii.
Driving around corners

iii.
Adjusting the seat

This may be more noticeable at colder ambient temperatures.

I had a creak in the driver seat and the dealership replaced the seat base. Been fine ever since!

Took one visit to diagnose and then about 2 weeks to order. The base was changed while I was having oil/tires done. Half a day.

My drivers seat makes a clunk when I make a right turn. Maybe I should check the rails.

I had mine checked out but the sound is back. it really sounds like a clunking sound now. Like the rails are oversize so they bang together and have play in them.

Do you have a power or manual seat. The problem should be limited to the manual seats only because of the track design.
