Question How hard is it to lift rear seats ??

Looking at putting a couple alpine type x under that back seat of my 06 quad cab. I was just wondering how difficult a seat lift is because it looks like im gonna need a couple extra inches to fit the mounting depth of those beasts.

i'm not sure, but, i believe 1 of our sponsors carries DU_HA under seat storage system
http://www.du-ha.com/dodge_quad_02_06.html
it may do the trick
designed to fit underneath your pre-existing back seats. It's constructed from heavy duty polyethylene and comes with a lifetime warranty. If your truck came equipped with a flat folding floor made of black metal, you will need to remove the metal trays prior to installing your DU-HA. These trays are interchangeable, so you will be able to re-install them later if needed

For two Alpine Type X subs? Aren't they fairly deep? Keep in mind you'll need at least 2 inches from the back of the box to the magnet on the subwoofer Plus there needs to be room for excursion and for the sub to properly "load" off the bottom of your seat.

Chithead might have nailed that one. If 2 inches would be enough room i thought of shimming it with something good and sturdy.
