Default Stereo upgrade

well after weeks of flip flopping i have finally decided to got with jl slash amps and components. specifically 300/4v2 and 500/1v2 and not sure if i am going to use the zr up front and c5 in the back or all c5s. but my question is can i use a 4 gauge wire to a distribution block and 8 gauge out to those amps or should i use all 4 gauge? ground included. my dist block can go 4 in and either 4 or 8 out. what do you all think?

You can use the equation Amps = Watts/Volts and then figure out what size wire you'll need. The installation instructions for the amps will also recommend the proper wire gauge.

I would run a 2ga or so to a distro block w/ 2-4 ga coming out
