My 5.9 with a flowmaster 10 series, all 2.5" madrel bent, catback, sold it though

I would say that it is really up to your sound preference. I would look on you tube and decide when you listen to sound clips. If I may, I would suggest looking at Gibson. I have a cat back system from them and I love the sound very much! I am a guy that likes loud so this is an exhaust for someone that likes to hear your own exhaust

I have a sound clip on this site somewhere

I found it, its on the second page of the thread:http://ramforumz.com/showthread.php?...exhaust&page=2

I have to jack the thread and rep Gibson! I have to stay loyal!

Like I said, after I try out this new Bully Dog kit, I will see which one I want. If I don't like it, I got a guy that's waiting on buying it. Then I will probably go back to the Flowmaster. straight pipe also sounded aggressive but the 10 series gave it a little.

I have a flowmaster 50 series and am very pleased with the sound. It is a low rumble at freeway speeds and a roar when I put my foot down.

So I went with the magnaflow catback I ordered it from real truck i installed it with two good ol boys and it sounds nice I need an intake now but they're so expensive for what they do I want to try and make my own. A ram air would be easier I think? But I still want to be able to go through water not to deep like a foot or 2 that should be possible?

If you can make you own I would say go for it. I have seen that some of the other guys made their own and they love it. I think you will gain a couple more HP going with a quality one from a manufacturer but not much.

If you want to get a cheap on look at S&B they have em pretty well priced!

I think you should find someone who has the same truck and ask them to rev it and ask him questions,I THINK SOUND CLIPS SOUND DIFFERENT THAN REAL LIFE.either way you should really know what sound you want loud or mellow.
