Default Vacum problem in 96 dodge ram

i have a 96 dodge ram with the 5.9 liter engine and my 4wd dont work my cruise dont work and when i accelrate the heater goes from vent to defrost. i checked the servo under the battery and nothing seemed to be messed up all the lines eem intact and what not. any help would be apreciated im pretty much just concered with the four wheel drive. there is no vacum going to the axel een after i replaced the vacum switch in the transfercase

I kinda have the same problem on my 98 2 wheel.It will switch from defrost to vent under load, like just above 2 grand.I havent looked into much yet, work all the time.

Sounds like a vacuum check valve problem which is a common problem. Make sure your vacuum source is good and if so, you need a new check valve P/N 04677204.

I checked for vacuum at several spots and seems to be nice a nice steady vac.So Im guessing these check valves stick open?Also is there a pic or diagram to its location, I think i have the right spot just want to make sure.
