Default Truck Champ 4" oval nerf bars

Has anybody had Truck Champ products before? Specs seem pretty good.

http://www.truckchamp.com/index.asp?...D&ProdID=94676

*4" oval polished stainless steel (16 gauge)
*no drill installation
*good price
*weight rating of "approximately 350lbs" (I emailed and asked)

These appear to be some of the sturdiest I have seen for the price, with the exception of the Electric Step running boards which support up to 600lbs but cost $1000.

Any feedback?

Are the ones on your truck made by Mopar? If so, I think the Mopar units are made out of aluminum.

If I decide on nerf bars, I'll probably go with a pair that angle in either 45 or 90 degrees cause I'm not a fan of off the body straight bars. Just personal pref.

However, I've been giving much consideration to these straight ones, but they touch the body:

Yeah, those look decent, but I don't know if I'd care to have them touching the body.

Westin also makes a decent step. Also claim no drill but some drilling had to be done. Had a set on my 96 for a while until the bracket rusted.

Once you put up whatever brand you get, spray some undercoating on the bracket to further protect it against the elements. That little but you do now should help it last a long time.

Check the warranty make sure its lifetime and I cant stress the next point enough,
KEEP THE RECEIPT!!!!!!
You'll need the receipt if for some reason you need to make a claim

I actually went with a set of N-fab step rails. I'm hoping to get them on later this week.

They look just like the Mopar ones.

I like these from RBP ("Rolling Big Power" .... aka "Real Big Prices")
They are made from 14 gauge, marine grade 304 stainless steel, wrinkle finish coated black and can hold 450lbs per side. They run from wheel well to wheel well and sit tight against the rocker pannel with a 45 degree bend for the step. They run almost $500.
