Default Messed up my options

hey guys... i haven't been on in a while and thats because i ordered my truck back in june of 09 and if finally got here january of 2010... i ordered a blue sport crew 4x4 and had to wait because of the ram boxes... now my options were:
sport package
sunroof
ramboxes
towing package
leather seats
remote start
and the 121L fuel tank

after recieving the truck i drove it a bit to empty out the tank a bit and fill up to see how much it would cost to fill up... filling it up the pump stops at 93 leters... so i figure the pumps just acting up and continue to pump... gas pours out... so i know there is not a 121L tank there... i go home and look at the paper work and find that my sales man had put it on the print out when i ordered the truck with him... but when he gave that to the next person they forgot to put the larger tank on the paper work... so my question is what would u guys do about this? let is slide? make them change it? or try to get something free from the dealer? ie. free oil changes or something along those lines...

Unless your truck was 100% empty you are not going to get 121l of fuel into it. My last chevy had a 24 gallon tank. I never was able to put more than 19 in the truck.

i know that... but i thought that i'd atleast be able to get 110 in the thing... the fact that i only hit 93 just made me curious... when i went home i looked at my paper work and found that it was forgotten for sure... if i went home and saw that it was there then i wouldn't worry about it... but its not... i even called the dealer and they told me it was forgotten...

If you want it, and they charged you for the unit, go back and have them install the proper sized tank!

they didn't charge me for it... and its not that big of a deal... i only wanted it so i'd have to fill up less often... how much of a pain would it be to have it changed? or should i just try to get something for free...

i travel a lot & need every drop of gas that i can get, i have the larger tank & can get as much as 500 plus miles to the tank full ( if the computerized read out can be believed )
I also have another 30 gallon tank in my trucks bed if needed
i escort semi trucks & they don't like to stop until they need to & they won't rehire an escort that needs to stop every 300 miles, they & escorts get paid by the mile

well to me its not a huge deal... but it just bothers me that i had this truck built for me... specially for me and its wrong... right now this tank lasts me about a week... with the extra sized i'm sure i could get another few days out of it.. i don't know if i want them to change original equipment tho...
