I wouldn't mess with it. Pretty sure you need more than just the tank so you are asking for trouble with them trying to figure out all the little details. If there are some accessories you want, have them give you a nice discount on them.

Just a question, did you look at your window sticker? 93 liters is 24.6 gallons. The standard tank is only 26 gallons. You'd of had to run it way below empty to be able to add that much. I personally have the 32 gal tank. The max I have ever gotten in is about 28 gal (105 liters) and that is with the distance to empty at 0. Just asking???

One thing I learned a long time ago is after the vehicle is ordered, have them give you a printout so you can verify what was ordered. Much easier to correct ahead of time.

If you had paid for it, then you could make enough noise to have them change it. But since it didn't cost anything, you have to ask yourself if it's worth "making" them make it right. If you go about it in the wrong way, they will always see you coming in the future. If it were me, I would write a polite letter to the dealership owner outling what you ordered versus what you got, how long it took to get it, and ask what they plan on doing about it. Let them make the first offer. If they are an honest dealership they are going to want your repeat business and will try to keep your loyalty by doing whatever is within reason.

If they didn't charge you for it, I agree that they might tell you to go fly a kite. Like the others mentioned, I have the 32 gallon tank and I've never been close to filling up on 32 gallons. There's at least a 3 gallon reserve in there. If it really does bother you not having that large tank then I think you should have it replaced but don't expect them to give it to you for free.

my truck has a 98L tank. when the light comes on(1/8th of a tank ) i can still put 10 or 12 liters of fuel in. 1/8th 0f 121 liter tank is 15 liters, so depending on when you put the fuel in i.e. was the light on, you more than likely have the big tank.

I ordered my sport with chrome bumpers and it had painted bumpers when I took delivery. I let the dealer know I was not happy about it and theY ordered me a set of chrome bumpers. I ended up liking the painted bumpers by the time the chrome ones came in. I still took the chrome bumpers and now have a extra set. I say give it a shot and let the dealer know you are unhappy and see what you can get out of them. You got nothing loose

truth be told, you ordered the larger tank & didn't get it, you will always have that in your mind, tell the dealer that you ordered the larger tank & want it. don't settle for less

That's my thought, you ordered the bigger tank but didn't get it. If it were me, I would explain it to them just that simply that while it really is not a big deal, it is a matter of principle. Hopefully, as has been suggested, if they are an honest dealership and want to not only keep your business, but also any referrals you may throw their way, they'll make you an offer to either throw in some oil changes/accessories or just swap the tank. Good luck and let us know how you make out!
