Default Help with my new Pioneer Head Unit

I recently purchased a 2014 Ram Big Horn ( my first Dodge) with the smaller touch screen on the dash. I wasn't a big fan of the uconnect, so I found a new head unit. I went with the Pioneer AVH-3500BHS and the XSVI-6523-NAV harness to attach to the OEM plug. I have it wired up, but nothing is happening. It seems like it isn't getting any power to the unit. Any ideas on how I could find out if the Pioneer or the harness is damaged?

Hey bummer problem, have you tried pulling the head unit out and checking for resistance and for voltage when the key Is on the on position through the power and ground of the units wiring harness? there should be resistance in the unit and 12v when trucks running. also check for resistance in your aftermarket harness that goes between the unit and the truck each wire should have a low resistance like .2 ohms if you get no resistance then the wire may need to be pushed back into the pin in the back of the plug. if all fails try running a the head unit off a battery if it does not power up id be contacting pioneer right away.

Hope this is a good start for you.
