Default Amps mounted on rear wall

how of you have mounted amps on the rear wall of a qc? and do you take the existing sound deadner off? and if so do you put some deadner back on the wall? and what about the outside noise? and finally do the amps get hot?

You will have to take the factory batting away and put some 5/8" MDF in there and you can put ensolite over that, then mount your amp(s) to it. You will need to keep at least one of the vents clear or your ears will hurt everytime you close the doors. Some amps will get hot, some wont. As for outside noise, if you have a loud exhaust system it will be louder (you would be amazed at how much the factory insulation helps) Hope this helps ya, I have done a couple of these with great success, but it has its rewards and issues

let me ask you this, i have a speaker box with 10 inch kicker comp vrs and i am leaning towards the kicker 08zx750.1 to drive them. this amp got some really good reviews. an i really want the jl 450/4v2 but it is so lo9ng it sticks out from the front seat, so i am probably going to go with the 300/4v2 or the fosgate p8004. i doo have and exhaust system and it is rather loud already so i don't need any more outside noise. i want to use either jl or focal component in the front and rear doors. would the 300/4v2 be sufficient at 75 watts per channel or would the fosgate at 100 per channel work better?

The 300/4 is plenty sufficient IMO

So you have the 2 kickers under the seat? I have a request if you are interested. I have the Eclipse amp that fits right under the passenger sseat. Its the most powerful amp that will fit under the seat. This is great cause its easily accesible. I had the same setup as you and I can say that that amp is plenty power for the subs since it does put out 1500w...well 1200w at 4ohm which is what i had it at

Focal is definatly the best speaker setup to get for any vehicle. There is a set of Focals that are wicked but cheap I know they are $350 CDN and sound amazing. For speakers Focal is the best quality

I wouldnt even do the rear doors man save your money. If you get powerful enough fronts it will cancel out the backs. I have some serious fronts and dont even notice the rear speakers haha
